Gifts of Love come are unique to each individual as each journey is unique. All Gifts of Love share one goal: to spread joy, lift spirits, provide a little peace and lighten the load. It might be a one-time monetary gift or service, assistance with housing expenses or groceries, a weekend away, tickets to an event, gas cards or something as simple as a taxi ride.
At Chix 4 a Cause, LTD., our Gift of Love exists to help ease the burden cancer creates by assisting with essential bills, providing gift cards, and offering emotional support to individuals and families during a difficult time.
To continue with a Gift of Love, a Chix 4 a Cause volunteer will reach out by phone to gather a few important details. We kindly ask that nominees have the following information available when contacted, as it helps us serve you in the most thoughtful and timely way possible:

Utility bill information, including the utility company name, account number, and typical monthly bill amount.

Telephone and/or internet service information, including the company name, account number, and normal monthly bill.

Favorite restaurants, grocery stores, and places they regularly shop, so gift cards can be meaningful and useful.

Whether they are spiritual or would appreciate receiving a prayer shawl.

Any special interests they and/or their children may have, which helps us personalize emotional support items.
All information shared is kept confidential and is used solely to provide support through the Gift of Love program. Our goal is to meet individuals where they are and offer care that truly reflects their needs and interests.
